CBI congratulates trainee Page Daniels, who was recently awarded a Colin Wraight Memorial Award in Biochemistry for an outstanding paper.

The Colin Wraight Memorial Award was established in honor of a long-term University of Illinois faculty member, who impacted so many in Urbana and around the world. Professor Wraight was a passionate teacher and mentor, and an outstanding colleague who gave unselfishly to others. He was known for the breadth and depth of his knowledge, quick wit, and the gracious hospitality that he and his wife, Mary, extended to all.  This award to a current graduate student associated with the Department of Biochemistry honors a lifetime of exquisite scientific inquiry, creativity, and impact by Professor Wraight.
